US triathlete Andy Potts turned in the third best ever time with a winning time of 3:59:41 at the Wildflower Long Course Triathlon last week beating second place Eneko Llanos by over 3 minutes.
Reinaldo Colucci, Jordan Rapp and Joe Gambles rounded out the top 5 for the men's triathlon.
A few big names had the misfortune to turn in DNFs at the 2009 Wildflower triathlon including Rutget Beke, Torbjorn Sindballe and Bjorn Andersson.

US Olympics Trials - Men's Triathlon
Matty "Boom Boom" Reed pulled away on the bike and increased his lead on the run yesterday to win the elite men's Olympic Trials triathlon in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Reed was able to hold off Andy Potts and Hunter Kemper to take the second men's spot for the 2008 US Olympic Triathlon team.
